The 38th International Maintenance Conference IMC2024 was one of the most important events worldwide for companies and organizations dedicated to industrial maintenance, reliability and asset management. The Association of Asset Management Professionals (AMP) was present as an exhibitor and sponsor of this conference, whose central theme revolved around Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Analytics.

IMC2024, a Reliabilityweb.com® conference, showcased the latest trends in Asset Management and the scope of Industry 4.0 within the business, offering the knowledge and tools necessary to lead successful companies and strong, flexible organizations amidst the changing landscape of industrial asset management and constant technological advances.

For AMP, to have participated as an exhibitor and sponsor at the International Maintenance Conference IMC2024 was an expression of its commitment to innovation and the dissemination of asset management information, so that more organizations can achieve their goals with financial robustness, operational excellence and above all safety for people and the environment. “We are really proud of all the work that went into this great event, where the Association of Asset Management Professionals has provided critical support” -said Terrence O'Hanlon, Executive Director of AMP, during the event.

Awards, recognition and a strong commitment to quality and safety

The event also featured a full agenda that included the WIRAM Lunch (a very special meeting with women who have demonstrated significant leadership in the asset management industry), the presentation of the new AMP Chapter and the award ceremonies for the CRL Black Belts. These ceremonies were presided over by Terrence O'Hanlon, CEO & Editor of Reliabilityweb.com(r) and Executive Director of the Association of Asset Management Professionals, accompanied by Maura Abad, Vice President of Reliabilityweb.com(r) and WIRAM Global Director.

These distinctions and recognitions have a very special value because they validate the knowledge developed by asset management professionals, through complex projects that had a positive impact on their respective organizations.

As part of the AMP agenda, the WIRAM Lunch and WIRAM Panel were held, with the outstanding participation of women who lead the asset management business. As Global Director of Women in Reliability and Asset Management, Maura Abad thanked the panelists Gretchen Gallagher from Interloc, Bailey Brandel from Prometheus Group and Melissa Ruth from Cohesive (who was also in charge of the WIRAM Lunch presentation), for their excellent contributions in the development of the topics addressed. “It is an honor to share with all of you today, very grateful for your commitment to the work of our organization and for the great convening power we have demonstrated, which commits us to continue working to create more spaces for the development of women within our industry,” said Abad during this session.

All of this is aimed at achieving efficient organization and creating a safer and more sustainable future for all.
