In the south of Latin American, Terrence O'Hanlon, Executive Director of AMP, and Maura Abad, Global Director of Women in Reliability and Asset Management (WIRAM), will participate as speakers at the “Congreso Internacional de Mantenimiento Predictivo, Confiabilidad y Lubricación” PRECONLUB 2025
Continuing with the effort to create awareness, demand and knowledge around Reliability and Asset Management, the Association of Asset Management Professionals (AMP) will be present at PRECONLUB 2025.
Congreso Internacional de Mantenimiento Predictivo, Confiabilidad y Lubricación, PRECONLUB 2025, will hold its first edition this year in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on April 10 and 11. Terrence O'Hanlon, Executive Director of the Association of the Asset Management Professionals (AMP), and Maura Abad, Global Director of Women in Reliability and Asset Management (WIRAM), will be at the event virtually, to share with attendees experiences and knowledge that contribute to the advancement and development of the industry, maintenance and improvement in reliability and asset management practices.
PRECONLUB aims to provide a forum for the industrial community where they can learn about the latest advances, new methodologies and technologies in the areas of Maintenance 4.0, Reliability, Asset Management, Predictive Maintenance and real-time condition monitoring. The Association of Asset Management Professionals (AMP) focuses on providing accreditation and professional recognition in Asset Management, to support and advance the industry worldwide, an issue that will be addressed during PRECONLUB 2025.
AMP has managed to create a global community in which professionals exchange ideas and technological advances in asset management, this being perfectly in tune with the objectives of the congress, which aims to bring together professionals and investors who will present success stories and share part of their experiences and knowledge. PRECONLUB is held several times a year in different cities, this being the first in 2025.
The voice of Women in Reliability and Asset Management (WIRAM)
With a full agenda of keynotes, the congress will also hold business roundtables and presentations from the most cutting-edge companies in the industrial sector.
Women in Reliability and Asset Management (WIRAM) will be represented at PRECONLUB 2025 Argentina by Vanesa Casariego, a Corrosion and Materials Specialist at Pan American Energy, as part of WIRAM's efforts under the Association of Asset Management Professionals to elevate the role of women in the industry. Casariego will give a talk entitled “Risk-based maintenance strategy for coke chambers and their cutting system”, an example of the work of professional women in our industry. Gabriela Mejías, Director of WIRAM LATAM, has coordinated Casariego's participation in PRECONLUB 2025, under the leadership of the organization's Global Director, Maura Abad.
