Reliability Engineering for Maintenance

Eight workers at a Nebraska meat processing plant claimed the record $365 million Powerball jackpot on Wednesday, giving each about $15.5 million after taxes.

The winners included a maintenance supervisor and maintenance technician at Con Agra in Lincoln Nebraska!

Nice to see some folks from Maintenance get ahead. I wonder what the operators in that plant think?

At least 4 have quit their jobs. What would you do?

I think I'd sell my place in Nebraska and move to the gulf coast of Florida. Maybe one of them is my long-lost cousin.

I think I would give up overtime working

If I who earn a five figures salary a year, get a ten figures bag of money after taxes, I would not tolerate a single additional (what is the term? crap?) from my boss.

I'm sure I will find a new way to keep my brain busy, my heart happy, and my tummy full.

Also, I think I will give my boss a farewell gift. One must be grateful for the things learned.

What would I do?

1) Work for fun!!
2) Travel the world going to trade fairs, conferences, maybe write a book.
3) Enjoy living ...
