Maura Abad\, global director and founder of Women in Reliability and Asset Management (WIRAM)\, will present the session “What is WIRAM and Why Get Involved” as part of WIRAM’s efforts to elevate and highlight the role and contributions of women professionals in the asset management industry. This event will take place on Tuesday\, August 18\, at 11 a.m. Nashville time. Women in Reliability and Asset Management (WIRAM) is part of the Association of Asset Management Professionals (AMP)\, and its primary objective is to promote and support the role of women in the fields of reliability and asset management\, creating a safe space for professional women to explore greater opportunities for development\, while also fostering the exchange of ideas and experiences that strengthen the internal dynamics of our industry. WIRAM is made up of Global Chapters that highlight women’s achievements in the industry through activities such as conferences\, webinars\, and summits. “We are very excited to participate in MaximoWorld 2026\, showcasing the impact of professional women in our field and how WIRAM continues to drive the integration of more women into our industry\, as we collectively explore new ways to achieve excellence\, safety\, and profitability in asset management\, reliability\, and industrial maintenance\,” Maura noted regarding this conference.   WIRAM achieves its goals thanks to the extensive network of volunteers who make up the Global Chapters\, as well as the Advocates\, whose contributions support the organization’s work.
