    Dear All
We request your reference support for Vertical Cement Mill Separator Rotor Balancing.
In the images, you can see the details of the facilities
We hope you can share your experiences.

We have installed new blades, and therefore, we believe that we have caused some increase in vibrations
1.8 mm/ss They are not high, but they are looking to lower them.

     add some images,

Stay in touch, and we share any necessary information
We have a new analyzer, 2140, that we want to use 100%

It shows the installation of Transmission Housing and Separator Rotor Air Flows

    Bearing Arrangement
Separator Rotor with weight of 5.5 ton

    Goo day Manuel,

What was the level before the blade replacement.

Now you have 1.8 mm/s. This level is already good. It will be difficult to get better for this type of equipment.

    Regards

    Serge

    Dear Serge,

The Vibrations are Low if we test the separator with the mill stopped.

When the Mill is in operation, the vibrations have reached levels of 12 to 13 mm/s
It is certain types of Cement when the Speed is the highest 200 RPMs in the Rotor.

It seems that the high vibration is related to the load and rpm for a "certain type of cement".

The load probably is due to additional forces of a type of cement.

Or, at the same load, the vibration will decay as the rpm decreases.

    Jose

    Your comments are correct.

Likewise, the Motor kW Power Increases with Increasing RPMs on the Rotor

In such a case the parts that are playing this relatively high speed and load vibrations are:

    • Coupling: all set up.
    • Bearing: check the spring pressure for coupling bearings. How are these bearings preloaded? Do the bearings need to be changed?
    • Thermal expansion growth: is it the shaft? when heated, you don't want to overload the bearings.
