Asset life span depends on 1) Quality of asset 2) Frequency of usage 3) Maintenance programs implemented and 4) Operational Environment. Are there other factors?

I thinking various factor also impact 

1. Design and Engineering: if u select the best than ok (Technology and Innovation).
2. Operational Practices
3. Applicable Damage Mechanism :Corrosion and Wear,Load and Stress, Aging
4. Technological Obsolescence
5. Economic Factors: Budget constraints and financial considerations may influence decisions about maintenance, repair, or replacement of assets.

In my research I found, planning and skilled knowledge are the main factor that affects life of a asset.

Planning in the sence- when maintenance to be done,  how to store asset, Were to store asset , how many qty is required, when is required ect.

Skilled knowledge means - who will do asset management,  how to do, at what frequency asset management to be done, what kind of material is required ect.

Environmental fastopr as well such as water quality in cooling towers, salt water air and chiller water evaporator coil life.
