  • 1.  High 0.5 X in NDE Motor

    I have checked the vibration for Motor connected to the compressor and got 0.5 X (25 Hz) in NDE Machine spectrum Vertical & Horizontal but the highest in vertical, there is no 1X in spectrum, 2X and other non synchronous peaks are present, peak (0.5 X) is present in DE side but it is low, what could be the reason of peak 0.5 X (25 Hz)  ?

    type of compressor: Atlas Copco Air Compressor

    Power: 29 KW

    Speed: 2985 RPM

    Bearings: 6220

    is the 0,5 peak appears in all axes measurement or just one axes?

    There are multiple high frequency peaks not just 0.5 x,The 0.5x and other peaks could bearing defect frequencies. Pls check bearing defect frequencies

    It's a very old message in 2017, and complete information was not provided.

    I think it was 1x of the compressor because the Atlas Copco Air Compressor connected with the motor through the gearbox.
