Hi Jose,
Since you say that you have many work stops for corrective maintenance and need to move to more preventive maintenance I am going to assume you are in quite a reactive maintenance environment. To esc ape from that vicious cycle of reactive maintenance there are 3 things you need to get in place:
(1) effective planning & scheduling so you can improve productivity and create a stable working environment
(2) create an effective and efficient PM program
(3) get a Root Cause Analysis (and eventually a Defect Elimination) process in place.
Often that sequence is the best way to tackle it, but depending on your circumstances you may need to start with (3)
Send me a DM and I can share an eBook that explains in more detail why you need to focus on those 3 practices, and how.
Kind Regards,
Erik
