AMP’s Certified Maintenance Manager® certification, based on the Strategic Maintenance Manager’s Series Body of Knowledge Framework, will allow you to validate the skills and competencies of the maintenance leader.

Within Asset Management, Industrial Maintenance is one of the most complex and important activities, requiring a wealth of technical knowledge, maintenance strategies, ability to communicate with work teams and an overall vision that encompasses maintenance objectives in relation to organizational goals.

BECOMING A CMM

Steps to become a Certified Maintenance Manager®

  1. Study the The Strategic Maintenance Manager’s Series Body of Knowledge Framework*. Get it here
    * Not mandatory but highly recommended 
  2. Register for an upcoming exam. There are several throughout the year and it can be virtual or in person.
  3. Fill out the form and pay the registration fee.
  4. Prepare for the exam and study hard! It is a 2-hour timed, virtually proctored exam with 125 multiple-choice questions.
  5. After successfully passing the exam you will become a Certified Maintenance Manager™ . Your will receive a virtual diploma and your name will be published in our website. The CMM certification will last 3 years. Find out how to recertify here.
