For Asset Management specialists, our mission encompasses ensuring safety, fostering operational excellence, and enhancing economic resilience. Achieving these requires applying reliability principles, which are honed through ongoing training and learning. To support this, the Association of Asset Management Professionals presents the CRL Domain Mastery Belt Program.
After obtaining the Certified Reliability Leader® certification, the next step in the AMP pathway is the CRL Domain Mastery Belt. This recognition is awarded upon successfully developing and implementing an innovation or improvement project within your organization, guided by one of the Uptime® Elements™ Domain Framework.

Steps to earn a Domain Mastery Belt
- Meet the Prerequisites: Ensure you hold a Certified Reliability Leader® (CRL) status in good standing. Discover the process for recertification if needed.
- Align Your Project: Map your project to a specific domain within the Uptime® Elements™ Framework.
- Application Submission: Compile all necessary documents and acquire original signatures from your Executive Sponsor and Financial Reviewer. Note that digital signatures are not accepted.
- Project Timing: Only projects initiated after obtaining your CRL Certification are eligible.
- Pass a Review: A subject matter expert will assess your application and project to confirm all requirements are met.
- Achieve a Black Belt: Complete mastery belt programs for all five Domains of the Uptime® Elements™, and earn a CRL Black Belt.
