Body of Knowledge Update Webinar Draws Global Audience

Asset management professionals from around the world attended the event, a live webinar from the Reliability Leadership Institute®, hosted by Terrence O’Hanlon and Maura Abad.

Asset management professionals worldwide participated in the Uptime® Elements Body of Knowledge: What Changed for 2026 -and Why It Matters to Your Reliability Journey, a live webinar from the Reliability Leadership Institute®, to learn about updates to the BoK and how to best leverage these resources. This webinar took place on October 28 at 10 a.m. ET was hosted by Maura Abad, AMP Global Chapters Director, and Terrence O’Hanlon, creator of Uptime® Elements, CEO of the Reliability Leadership Institute®, and Executive Director of the Association of Asset Management Professionals (AMP).

Terrence O’Hanlon led this guided tour of the expanded 2026 Body of Knowledge (BoK), an important resource for professionals seeking certification as a Certified Reliability Leader® (CRL) or whoever wants to learn more about how to apply this knowledge in their daily work.

“We’re very excited to present these updates for 2026, to review what has changed and what remains the same, because both are very important on your Reliability Journey. All of this is part of Uptime® Elements, -a framework for reliability and asset management, and I know that everyone participating in this webinar understands what the framework entails and is familiar with the Domains,” Terrence said at the start of the webinar. More than 6,000 locations around the world use the Uptime® Elements Framework, making it the most widely implemented reliability and asset management framework in the world. There are also more than 4,000 CRLs globally.

This is the framework’s biggest update in a decade, built around the leaders who use it. The new updates preserve the core of the framework, and the passports on which the Certified Reliability Leader® exam is based have not changed either, but professionals will now have access to new tools and resources such as the New 169-page CRL Exam Study Guide and Learning Exercises, How to Create a 90-Day Reliability Leadership Project, the first edition of Uptime® Elements Key Terms and Definitions, and The Reliability Leadership Manifesto, among others.
